FBI Has Damaging Tapes Of Newt Gingrich, Russia Investigation Expands

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, who has been a key campaign adviser to President Trump, has just been implicated in the expanding FBI investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia.

According to political insider Puesto Loco, who has a variety of intel sources, and has proven to be reliable in the past, the FBI has tapes from September 2016 showing Newt Gingrich arranging meetings between Trump’s campaign with Russia Ambassador Kisylak. So far, it’s not clear if the “tapes” are audio or visual in nature.

The report comes shortly after it was disclosed that members of Donald Trump’s campaign were in contact with Russian officials in at least 18 calls and emails during the last several months of the presidential race. At least six of those were phone calls with Kislyak, who is alleged to be in recorded on the tapes with Gingrich. This was verified by current and former U.S. officials. This might be what the FBI has in their possession – or it could be from other encounters. We don’t know yet.

Not much more information has been provided yet, but Gingrich’s recent actions raise several interesting red alarms. Take a look at how he’s responded to the investigation over the last month.

At first, as recently as May 17th, Gingrich praised Mueller as a “superb choice to be special counsel. His reputation is impeccable for honesty and integrity.” He then went on to say that the “media should now calm down.” But, then, two days ago Gingrich somehow changed his tune. Out of nowhere almost, he went into full attack mode: “The brazen redefinition of Mueller’s task tells you how arrogant the deep state is and how confident it is it can get away with anything.”

Gingrich broke with the majority of Capitol Hill Republicans who still openly praise the appointment of Mueller to lead a team of independent prosecutors into potential obstruction of justice charges against Trump and members of his campaign – but Gingrich is one of those members. Gingrich is now siding with the president and calling the probe a “witch hunt.”

Gingrich even took interest on who he’d like to see as the next FBI Director, posting the video to his own website Gingrich Productions. Maybe Gingrich isn’t the person to be offering such advice, especially if they have tapes on him indicating Russia collusion.
